Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short and specific, because a privacy policy is only useful if you can actually read it.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, mobile number, and — for delivery orders only — your delivery address. We also store what you ordered, the amount, and the time.

When you book a table: your name, mobile number, party size, date and time, and any special request you type in.

When you send us a message: your name, mobile number, email address if you provide one, and your message.

When you post a review: the name you type and your review text. Your phone number is not attached to a review.

Automatically: our server records the IP address of requests for a short period. This is used to stop spam and abuse, and nothing else.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials. Those go directly to Razorpay, our payment processor. We only receive a payment reference confirming the payment succeeded.
• We do not track you across other websites.
• We do not run advertising or analytics profiling on this site.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Why we use it

• To prepare, confirm and deliver your order.
• To call you if there is a problem with your order or booking.
• To hold and confirm your table reservation.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To keep records required by tax and accounting law.
• To prevent fraud and abuse of the ordering system.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Who else sees it

We share the minimum necessary with:

• Razorpay — our payment gateway, for processing online payments. Their handling of your payment data is covered by their own privacy policy.
• Our hosting providers — the servers that run this website and store order data.
• Delivery staff — your name, phone number and address, so your food reaches you.
• Government authorities — only where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

• Order records: retained as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Table bookings: about 12 months.
• Messages: about 12 months after we have dealt with them.
• Published reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
• IP records used for anti-spam: about one hour.

How we protect it

• The site is served over HTTPS, so information sent from your device is encrypted in transit.
• Order data is stored in a database that is not publicly reachable.
• The staff dashboard is protected by a passcode checked on our server. The passcode is never included in the website's code.
• Staff sessions expire automatically and can be revoked.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take these measures seriously and review them.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it;
• withdraw consent you previously gave.

To make any of these requests, call or WhatsApp us on +91 97423 88309. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Information stored on your device

This site keeps your cart, your favourites, and a copy of your own recent orders in your browser's local storage so they survive a page refresh. This stays on your device and is not sent to us as a separate record. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
